Following on from recent amendments of the Mobile Network Operator (MNO) codes of practice and the enforcement and clarification of the Payforit mandate, Fonix have taken the decision that all services discovered and consumed online must sit behind Payforit as of 1st November 2016.

For the avoidance of doubt, any services discovered and consumed online which require the consumer to go online for any part of the interaction with the service, must be behind Payforit, irrespective as to whether any engagement or service element are asked offline.

Having had time to review recent communications from the MNOs and reviewing our contractual obligations with them, Fonix have taken the decision to insist that our partners adhere to this across all networks from 1st November and we are hereby giving notice that we will be actioning the mandate from this date.

We will continue to support existing client subscriber bases billing through PSMS after November 1st but will not support any new acquisition for online services via PSMS beyond this date unless there's a specific exemption from the Mobile Operators.

In order to prepare for the migration of services to Payforit, please be aware that our commercial and client services team are fully available to support the move and to support any changes that need to be made.
