Dear Customer

Please be advised we will be undertaking planned maintenance on our fpay platform on the below date and time.

The release will include some changes as per the below:

As part of this release the response of the API used by merchants to create a new payment session in fPay at the address https://fpay.fonix.io/rest/sessions/create is going to include two additional values upon success.

The JSON response is going to be structurally unchanged, therefore no action is required from our merchants assuming the response is parsed correctly as a JSON value.

The two new values are going to be added to the inner JSONObject called "session", the values are:

payment_url: provides an (escaped) absolute url that merchants can use to redirect the end-user to the payment page.

guid: is the transaction id that can be used by merchants to check the status of the transaction using the new "Transaction Status" API.

New Transaction Status API:

A new API is going to be available for merchants to query the status of the transaction through a GET request at the address https://fpay.fonix.io/rest/v2/transactions/status/{transaction_id} passing the X-API-KEY header with the API key of your service.

The response contains the same information as the charge report in a JSON format

Please note that like the charge report, the msisdn is going to be returned only if the transaction is successful.

There is no anticipated impact to service during the maintenance window.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Kind regards
