Please be advised we have received the following notification from EE regarding the termination of Orange Premium SMS services on the below date and time.
Termination of Orange UK premium mobile terminating (MT) SMS Revenue Share – 1st January 2021
BT would like to thank you for all your support in preparation for our Premium SMS consolidation project. As part of this project we are now at the stage of terminating our PSMS MT Orange revenue share, as these customers will be migrating to the new platform in due time.
This means that no revenue share will be paid to Partners for Orange transaction from the 1st January 2021. It also requires that any subscription services must be terminated for Orange customers before the 1st January 2021.
As part of this change you are also advised that you may not attempt to bill these customers from the 1st January 2021.
Once the remaining users have successfully migrated to the new platform this base of customers will again be available to you and your merchants.
Following on from this notice, Fonix will suspend all Premium SMS connections to Orange on January 1st 2021. The Orange brand will no longer be displayed within the Fonix platforms and all transactions will now appear under the EE label for both financial and statistical reporting.
